Gion Shirakawa area is my favorite area in Gion (Geisha street). Most people visit the most famous main street “Hanami-koji” but it is much more beautiful here. The street is narrower, quieter and there is a canal along the street. There are a few bridges, many Sakura trees and willow trees along the canal. It is also very nice to have dinner in the high-class restaurant along the canal. You might be able to see Geisha inside of some of the old buildings. During the night with some street lights and the light from the restaurant, you will feel like you are back in the Edo period.
祗園白川地區是我在祗園（藝妓街）最喜歡的地區。大多數人都會參觀最著名的主要街道“花見小路”，但這裡的風景要美得多。街道更窄、更安靜，沿街有一條運河。運河沿岸有幾座小橋，許多櫻花樹和柳樹。在運河沿岸的高級餐廳享用晚餐也很不錯。您可能會在一些老建築物內看到藝妓。晚上只有一點路燈和餐廳的燈光時，你會覺得你回到了江戶時代。
